First Winter We are very afraid of winter, we have heard a lot of things, some good and some not so good. We think we are not prepared for -20C temperatures (just kidding, we should be). We already bought our jackets, boots, gloves, and hats, but nothing prepares you for those temperatures. At the beginning of winter everything is going to be very nice, the first snowfalls, new experiences, Christmas, and New Year (we hope all winter will be like that 🤞, being very positive). Just to tell you that at work we have made a bet on what day we think is going to be the first snow day (Paula said November 15 and Laura said November 19, Juanita didn't want to participate) we are looking forward that one of us will win this bet 🤑. We are still waiting for the temperatures to drop, and start this Winter season. We will keep you informed.
Paula and me (Laura) have to accept that the first job in a foreign country far from home was not going to be easy. Getting out of your comfort zone is more complicated than it seems. But we were very lucky to work 4 months in this restaurant, preparing (and clearly eating 🐷 ) the famous Canadian beaver tails.
I'm still wondering if you worked there or not. hahahaha I never saw you. 😅😅😅
